Share Your Story
Your story has power.
Help us challenge efforts to harm the LGBTQ+ community in South Carolina.
AFFA Action is building a stronger, statewide movement by documenting what’s really happening in our communities—from schools and workplaces to healthcare, housing, and public spaces. Whether you’ve experienced discrimination, been impacted by a harmful law, or witnessed something that needs attention, we want to hear from you.
Be Part of the Change
Real stories drive real change. Add your voice to the movement and help us fight for a safer, more equitable South Carolina.
By sharing your experience, you can help:
Inform our legislative advocacy and education efforts
Identify opportunities for strategic legal action
Elevate real stories in media and public conversations
Build the case for change in South Carolina
Tell your story in your own words. You can share as much or as little detail as you’re comfortable with.
What Happens Next
Our team carefully reviews every submission. If your story aligns with ongoing advocacy, communications, or legal efforts, we may reach out to learn more.
Because of the volume of submissions, we may not be able to respond to everyone—but your story still matters and helps guide our work.
We will never share or use your story without your explicit permission. If you are interested in speaking publicly or with the media, we can provide guidance and support. You are also welcome to remain anonymous.
