AFFA Action accomplished so much during the last legislative session thanks to the constant support and quick responses of our community. Here are just a few of the highlights:

  • Out of 70+ anti-LGBTQ+ bills introduced — only 1 became law

  • 100% of anti-LGBTQ+ budget provisos defeated

  • 120+ days lobbying at the State House

  • 3 local governments adopted hate crime ordinances — protecting 540,348 South Carolinians

  • 4-for-4 electoral wins in 2025

  • 37,092 rapid-response texts sent during critical legislative moments
